All work produced by Media Services is considered work-for hire and therefore all material produced is legally the property of Northern Illinois University. Special arrangements may be made for transfer of ownership under an agreement between the client, Media Services, and the NIU General Counsel Office. Projects made under this agreement will be charged external production fees that are commensurate with a Rockford or Suburban Chicago production house.
